PEAKY BLINDERS SEASON SIX RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCED

The sixth and final season of Peaky Blinders is to air on the BBC in the UK and on BBC iplayer on 27th February. After the traumatic demise of Aberama Gold at the end of season 5 we know he is highly unlikely to make an appearance in this season, other than in possible flash backs. but we are still curious as to who betrayed him and why.  Season six picks up the story a few years after the end of the previous one, and plays out against the build up to World War 2. Series creator Steven Knight has said this season revolves around Tommy Shelby's search for redemption.  Despite previous reports that the story would end as World War 2 begins there is now a film in the pipeline, rumoured to be focusing on the younger members of the Shelby clan.
